Dear colleague,Plan to attend the fourth edition of the "Molecular Biosystems" Conference on Eukaryotic Gene Regulation and Functional Genomics. The meeting is co-organized with the Millennium Institute for Integrative Biology (iBio)—which is supported by the Millennium Science Initiative of the Chilean National Agency for Research and Development— on behalf of the International Centre For Genetic Engineering And Biotechnology (ICGEB). The conference will take place on September 29-October 3, 2025, in Puerto Varas, Chile. Stay tuned for more details! The meeting covers a wide variety of topics centered on eukaryotic gene expression and function, from detailed molecular analyses to genome-wide studies. While the meeting has a regional focus, this conference series aims to bring together scientists from all over the world, at different stages of their scientific careers, to discuss recent advances in this active and fast-paced area of research. With its upcoming 4th edition, the conference continues to promote collaborations between Latin American and international researchers, and provides a platform for regional researchers to showcase and discuss their work in an international forum.

"Beautifully organized and stimulating conference. Very good mix of early career and experienced researchers". Professor, Chile "The best thing were the speakers and great organization. Also, the way it was organized facilitated interactions with all the participants, which I consider one of the most important things on meetings". Postdoc, Uruguay. "The size (~100 people) of the conference was fantastic and the level of the speakers was great. The meeting was super cool. The place, the speakers, the people in general. Absolutely recommended!". Postdoc, Argentina. "I really enjoyed the diversity of topics, all in the field of eukaryotic gene regulation. I really appreciated how much effort the organizers put into forming a community at the conference, especially with the awesome conference trip, but also in smaller ways like how nice and welcoming they were to my partner, how they provided childcare funding, how the meals were organized, and how the group picture was". Student, USA "I really enjoyed my attendance to the conference and my stay in Puerto Varas. It was a great experience". Student, Mexico "I liked the balance of speakers from northern and southern latitudes. Most of the international meetings are exclusively represented by researchers from northern latitudes (Europe and US), and this one gives similar exposure to both”. Professor, Argentina. "The emphasis on ECRs was fantastic, and the meeting was very interdisciplinary". Postdoc, USA. |
