How to get to Puerto Varas

The meeting will take place at the Cabaña del Lago hotel in Puerto Varas, a charming tourist town located on the shore of the Llanquihue glacial lake (41.3°S), 900 Km. south of Santiago, Chile’s capital city.

The nearest airport is El Tepual (IATA code: PMC), located in the city of Puerto Montt. The airport is ~ 23Km (14 miles) away from Puerto Varas. Please note that international visitors will have a layover in Santiago, Chile's capital city (IATA code: SCL). Santiago International Airport has daily connections with all major airports worldwide. There are frequent flights departing every day from Santiago to Puerto Montt (1hr 30min). Flights to PMC are served by LATAM Airlines, Sky Airlines, and JetSMART. Sit on the left side for a chance to see volcanoes during the flight. Please note that for international travelers, and while inconvenient, it may be cheaper to buy a round trip to Santiago, and a separate round trip ticket to Puerto Montt, than a single round trip from abroad directly to Puerto Montt. Please check different travel alternatives to find the best price and schedule. From the airport, you can:
