Abstract submission |
Thank you for you interest in submitting an abstract to the "Molecular Biosystems" Conference on Eukaryotic Gene Regulation and Functional Genomics. Although abstract submission is not required to attend the meeting, all attendees are encouraged to submit abstracts.
To submit an abstract, you must first register for the conference (unless you are applying for financial aid). After registering, you will get an email with credentials to access our online abstract submission system. You will be able to select whether you want to be considered for a talk or poster presentation. If your abstract is selected for a talk, you do NOT need to present a poster.
**Please note that all talks will be recorded, and by presenting at the event, you grant Molecular Biosystems the freedom and full rights to record your talk and make it available for a limited time to registered users, as stated in our conference policies**.
Abstract submission deadline: 30 June, 2023

Abstract submission guidelines and policies
- Please use this MS Word template when formatting your abstract. Click here to see an example of a correctly formatted abstract.
- By submitting an abstract, you agree to attend the meeting and present your work regardless of the format assigned (talk or poster). We understand that plans sometimes change for unavoidable reasons, but if you abstract is accepted, and given that this is a small meeting and you would be assigned a spot in lieu of others, we ask that if you cannot attend, that you please consider designating a co-author to present in your place. Registrations can be transferred if needed.
- As a general rule, abstracts will appear in the abstract book exactly as submitted. Submitting authors can update their submitted abstract in our platform until the submission deadline (June 30). Please carefully proofread your text before you submit your abstract. If your abstract is selected for the conference and you need to make small corrections, please contact us directly (molbiosystems [at] gmail [dot] com).
- The organizers will choose a limited number of abstracts among those submitted, to give oral presentations at the meeting. All other accepted authors are expected to give poster presentations. On the other hand, however, if your abstract is selected for a talk, you do not need to also give a poster presentation.
- The organizers reserve the right to decline any submitted abstracts that lack scientific content or merit, or submitted abstracts that merely announce the availability of a commercial service.
- By attending the meeting, you grant the Molecular Biosystems Conference the right to use your photograph, name, and likeness for news or promotional materials.
- Oral presentations will be recorded and made available for on-demand viewing for registered attendees.
- The use of cameras and other recording devices in poster sessions is strictly prohibited without express permission from the presenter or an authorized conference representative.
